DESCRIPTION

The Albino R. Pineda Scholarship supports outstanding graduating seniors, and graduates, of Santa Paula High School. Students must be of Hispanic descent in order to apply. 

AWARD

Scholars are awarded $2,500

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a graduating senior, or graduate, of Santa Paula High School in Santa Paula, CA

• Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, during the fall of a scholarship cycle

• US Citizen, Permanent Resident, DACA or Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA)

• Complete FAFSA or state-based financial aid application

Class Level

• High school graduating seniors - Cumulative GPA of 3.0, based on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) earned from 9th through the first semester/term of 12th grade

• Undergraduate college students - Cumulative GPA of 2.5, based on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) earned for a minimum of 12 credits

• Graduate college students - Cumulative GPA of 2.5, based on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) earned for a minimum of 9 units/credits 

Ethnicity

• Must be of Hispanic heritage
